I pulled two cards, one from The Moon Deck and the other (which actually jumped from the deck!) from Spirit de la Lune. We’re preparing for the New Moon in Leo, the first of two new moons in Leo in the next month which is really significant, so I thought these Moon-centered decks would be perfect! This first one will be in the early degrees of Leo which is going to be a sort introductory energy to the lessons or energies which will culminate with the second New Moon in Leo on August 21st – that’s the big one! The August 21st New Moon will also be the Solar Eclipse, and will occur in the last degrees of Leo. This will be the culmination of the energies from the first New Moon in Leo and we will have a chance after learning those lessons to reboot – kind of like downloading updates to your phone or computer and then rebooting to engage them.
For this weekend, the cards suggest we focus on a specific lesson. From The Moon Deck came card number 15, “I forgive and let go with loving ease”....
We're heading into a month of energies that could be really intense! Prepare for it NOW by booking your New Moon reading. Here is a sample reading of what you could expect when you order your own New Moon reading .....
New Moon in Leo July 23, 2017 Reading by Jill Jablonski
Date: July 20, 2017
Decks: The Witches’ Tarot by Dugan, Spirit de la Lune oracle deck
1. What intention do I need to set for my highest good this month?
7 of Pentacles: This month’s focus should be on patience, especially in regards to a financial endeavor or work project. You have put much effort into nurturing a project or your work and now need to give the fruit the time it needs to ripen and mature. This is not something that will yield overnight success or instant gratification, but you knew that when you sowed the seeds. Keep nurturing and tending to your project, but be patient and enjoy the process.
2. What energies support this intention?
The Page of Wands: This Page will have you being seen in a who...
Sorry I am a bit late with your weekend reading! This will be a short one but no less powerful. When I saw these two cards come up, I immediately heard in my head, "Protect what you love, and don't feel bad about it!"....I just love the Tarot! And particularly this deck! (Do I say that every time? Oh well!) This weekend's message is being brought to you by the Wild Unknown by Kim Krans and it is an intense deck! Just look at that 9 of Swords!!!
Have a great weekend! XOXO

Happy International Tarot Day! Welcome to Soul Sparks for those new to my blog, and welcome back to those not new here! I am so excited to be part of the first ever International Tarot Day Blog Hop! Now that Shandra from EcstaticGoddess.com has expertly enlightened you on the Five of Swords, let’s take a look at the Six of Swords, and how we can see it illustrated in film.
As a society, our films, our music, our arts and entertainment reflect our archetypes back to us in a way that helps us relate to the characters. We see ourselves in certain roles going through difficult times and when they pull through to the happy ending, it gives us hope that we too, are strong enough to endure until our happy ending. But before we get to the films, let’s review what the Six of Swords is generally about.
In the typical Rider/Waite/Smith version, a boat carrying three people from unsettled or rough water into smooth and calm water is depicted. The man is propelling and steering while a woman and chi...
This week's reading is courtesy of the stunning Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso. The 5 of Wands, the 8 of Swords, and the 2 of Wands are here to reveal your message!
Some challenges may crop up this week leaving you feeling a bit hemmed in and maybe even questioning whether your current situation is really meeting all of your needs. The challenges that the 5 of Wands refer to could be internal or external. Paired with the 8 of Swords, it's possible that negative thoughts may be running rampant and creating a personal, mental prison. Astrologically, Chiron, an asteroid that orbits between Saturn and Uranus and represents in our natal chart our deepest wound, just went retrograde yesterday. Dubbed the Wounded Healer, early wounds from the past may be getting triggered or working their way to the surface for healing. One of the most important lessons I have learned in my life is that we ALWAYS have a choice, no matter what the situation is, we always have a choice even if it is...
