REAL Self Care - It's not all bubble baths and chocolate!

Being highly sensitive, I have found it absolutely necessary in recent months to make some changes in my daily life to help me combat the stress of the world. It's also Cancer season which brings self care into our awareness even more.

  1. I have not watched the news in weeks, and I cannot tell you how much better I feel. As a matter of fact, I watch very little TV at all anymore opting to do other things on this list that enrich my life instead of waste it.

  2. I meditate twice a day, morning and evening, for at least 15 minutes each time, if not more. I feel so much more grounded and peaceful.

  3. I'm reading a ton of books! I've always read a lot but I also recently decided to take some classes towards an eventual Master's Degree in Transpersonal (or Spiritual) Psychology, which I'm so excited about!!

  4. When I feel the need to watch something, I watch inspiring lectures and videos on expanding consciousness, Astrology, etc.

  5. I'm journaling like crazy! I love it! It's so enlightening. I've always been a journaler (is that a word?? ) but I sometimes get lazy about it. Lately I've been very dedicated and I journal on my meditations, my dreams, and my card pulls every day and it's really increasing the amount of downloads, insights, and ideas.

  6. And the last one I'll share is that I'm keeping track of my Consciousness Level everyday, what lifts me up, and what brings me down. I use Dr. David Hawkins' Map of Consciousness Levels and test with my pendulum or dowsing rods. You could also use muscle testing for this.

How are you dealing with the current energies? Seriously, I'd love to know!

 Jill
